Explosion in Lagos adds one this morning.
The people of Baruwa, Ipaja Lagos and environs have awoken to the new gas station explosion that stormed the area at around 6:00 am today, Thursday 8th of October, 2020.

Baruwa is facing the popular Abesan Housing Esatate (Jakande), and this area has recorded a couple of explosions in the past.
Sadly this explosive incidence has led to the painful exit of an unknown number of people, and destroyed properties as well. The name of the Gas Station is Best Roof Gas Station, at Unity Bus-Stop Baruwa inside.

The report at the time of this news article was that the people were expecting fire fighters to come to their rescue.
According to Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the Director General of the Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA), emergency responders were sent to the explosion site but they are waiting for fire services.
